Our consulting expertise in petrophysics is built on decades of hands-on involvement across global basins and diverse reservoir types, as well as the development of both fit-for-purpose and innovative approaches tailored to a wide range of reservoir conditions and borehole configurations. This includes tight sandstones, unconventional shales, tight and fractured carbonates, supporting evaluations for gas, light and heavy oil, CO2 and kerogen-rich systems. Our experience spans projects in Argentina, Colombia, North America, Canada, Alaska, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia.

We bring deep technical insight into both conventional and unconventional petrophysics, with proficiency in open-hole and cased-hole formation evaluation. 

In cased-hole environments, we guide clients through the selection of appropriate technologies, accounting for borehole conditions, casing and cement effects, and the solution of key reservoir properties. We also address interpretation uncertainties and help optimize workflows for reliable decision-making. 

We provide expert consulting in specific tools physics, with a focus on optimizing input selection for machine learning and neural networks, especially when working with cased-hole data and its integration with core data but also other key logging technologies.

Our consulting in geology and tectonics is supported by formal education and hands-on experience globally, enabling us to contribute meaningful insight across basin-scale evaluations and subsurface workflows.

In collaboration with a seismic company, we provide expertise built on 30+ years of global experience in seismic processing and interpretation, as well as in the design, project management, and field oversight of 2D and 3D seismic acquisition. This experience spans projects with both major and independent oil and gas companies.

We are able to consult on geophysical methods such as gravity and magnetics with particular expertise in the magnetic properties of volcanic rocks and minerals. Our capabilities also extend to shallow subsurface geophysics, especially in applications related to infrastructure safety and integrity.
